Jyleer Pua Martinez was born and raised in the Philippines before moving to the United States at the age of 13. From a young age, she loved drawing and knew that art was the path she wanted to pursue. Throughout her years in America, she grew to love and appreciate different art mediums, taking the time to learn and explore each one. She took a variety of art classes, ranging from 3D design, jewelry making, and painting to photography and digital media.
As she adjusted to life in America, she began to miss her home and family. To stay connected to her roots, she started incorporating her culture and traditions into some of her artwork, allowing her to feel closer to home while celebrating her heritage. She will continue her journey of learning and appreciating all forms of art as she follows the path she has chosen.
